We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN/BSN) for our Birmingham, MI location with some travel and support required in our Arbor and Detroit office locations. Previous aesthetic or plastic surgery experience is preferred; however, we offer an exceptional training program for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with sales ability and experience in surgical assisting. Our team thrives on educating patients about the best treatment options to enhance their well-being and maintain a youthful appearance, so a passion for education and sales is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient education for a variety of medical aesthetic and surgical treatments in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Work as a collaborative partner to Dr. Boyd and other clinical providers by maintaining efficiency. and flow of patient schedules, preparing treatment rooms, obtaining photographs/patient consents, and quoting/developing treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Boyd and other clinical providers.
  • Perform blood draws, suture removals, dressing changes, medication refills and sending prescriptions, and assist Dr. Boyd during surgeries and other treatments.
  • Maintain and champion an inventory tracking system that includes managing stock and ordering.
  • Prioritize patient safety and comfort, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Develop and update protocols, perform chart and crash cart audits, and calibrate equipment.
  • Provide leadership and support to back-office team.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN/BSN) license in the state of Michigan.
  • At least 6 months of experience in office-based medicine preferred - general practice, aesthetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related field.
  • A positive, hardworking attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace change as the industry evolves.
  • Commitment to self-educating and staying up to date on the latest products, services, and industry trends.
